There were issues with the D2S ballast flickering or not firing up. Mine flicker every other day or so and it blinked off for the first time last night.

Hey Brent anything wrong with the retrofits besides the ballasts issue? Any leaking issues? May be interested if you're selling them. About to pull the trigger and have thunderone make me a set for around 5 but if I can get your set I it would be better.

Nothing wrong with them other than bad ballasts. No leaking either. I'm not 100% sure I'll be selling them yet. Probably not until the first of February.

I'm still not quite up for doing FXR's since I'm not 100% sure they'll fit in the housings. So if I do another set it'll be the D2S 3.0

    No problem!
Yeah, it's Ponethousand's.... He's the reason I've decided to buy an Elite and add the hoops. They just look so much better on how the lines on the bumper are.

Yeah, that's one good thing haha

I'll just keep whatever crate the Elite comes in on and ship my Relentless to anybody that wants it on it through Fasternal.

I probably won't be asking too much for it so it should sell pretty easy.

Just waiting on Elite to start taking orders again...

Yeah welding did save some but not much over what it would have cost to have Relentless weld it. But if I would have had Relentless done it I still would have only payed around $900 because of the discount he was doing at the time.

So either way the Elite would have cost more. I'm just going to get the Elite and be happy if I get half of what I'm paying for the Elite out of the Relentless.

Haha I decided this back when Ponethousand posted pics of his with the headlight hoops. It's just something about the Elite's lines that look so much better...

Nothing wrong with my current one, I just figured I might as well get exactly what I want. Just money, right? Haha

I won't be selling it until I have something to replace it with. I threw my stock bumper in the dumpster.... Haha

Oh I see...Yeah I love the Elites as well. I was too impatient and went with the bruteforce. Hopefully I like it haha. I didn't want the wait time of the Elite and headaches people seem to have with ordering from him.

    Haha yeah
Agreed. That's why I bought the DIY Relentless. I think I'll be able to handle the wait time since I already have an off road bumper. It'll just be nice when I get the one I like even more on.

I'm hoping that the issues with ordering will be gone once the group buy is over. Heck, I'm hoping he takes any orders period after this ordeal...

People that were later on the list were getting their's before others.

People got their bumper with the wrong options

People were getting somebody elses bumper.

He wasn't answering PM's for a short amount of time.

This one has gone a lot slower than his last one which had a decent turnaround time.

I love my Elite for sure.
It's ashamed that it seems like he just can't keep up with the work load. But. I must say Tim's bumpers are tight and right. I sometimes wish I would have went with the square fog light holes. But oh well... My current fogs are bright enough for me.

Yeah, still my favorite bumper for 1st gens.

I'm not sure what the current problem is, maybe school and everything made it bad timing to do a group buy. I really hope this doesn't stop production completely....

Yeah, if I didn't already have square fog lights I'd probably try to buy somebody's bumper off of them haha

I guess his schooling is taking a majority of his time.

If LOVE to get a rear bumper from him as well! But I don't know if I have the patience to wait.

I really love the CBI rear bumpers, but if I get a CBI, I'm gonna go full retard and get every option. With that, I would need frame stiffeners and prob new shackles.

I think I build a CBI bumper via their site about once a month! Lol

Tire carrier/telescoping light/fold down table/ jerry can holder FTW!
