    sick bike man. id trade my kawi for a honda any day. Never had problems on this bike (18.5k miles) but i love hondas. love the red! but i'd bore it out to a 351 like mine :devil:

    They do make a 305 kit for this one. That plus a cbr250 throttle body, cams, and then some cbr300 clutch plates/springs and this ting turns into about a 30hp beast haha

    Once mine is paid off I'll be looking into getting these mods... :D
    Some of us have real work to do :p

    One more month and this thing should be on some Warp 9's!

    That's a lot of improvement over stock. Nearly twice as much hp.

    Pretty much equals what your DRZ makes stock though haha

    Not quite but close. I want to big bore also.

    Had a pretty good wheelie last night, think it was just about balance point since the bike just stayed till i let off the throttle just a bit

    surprised Bill Blue hasn't made anything bigger than a 305 for it yet. i forgot it was EFI. call him up and ask him if he has plans to go any bigger than a 305! 351 is perfect. still lighter than a 400 but has torque. rode my buddies klx400 and i felt like mine was quicker and more nimble.

    Yeah, supposed to be super torque-y though.

    Jealous...Apparently if I just change to the CBR300 clutch plates and springs it'll clutch wheelie much easier in 2nd. So that's definitely happening this Winter :cool:
    Yeah, some people are wary of his 305 kit just because the sleeve wasn't bored evenly all the way through the stroke, causing scoring.
    I'm weighing mine when I get back after removing a bunch of the crap haha

    I'm hoping with smaller wheels/tires, lighter front fender, a battery that weighs 3 lbs less than the OEM, and then removing the PAIR, EVAP, storage container, kickstand switch, and helmet lock should help a good bit.

    I took some stuff off. :spy:

    I'd love love love to see the bike tip under 300lbs full of fluids

    Next in the weight cutting is:
    Aluminum protaper bars
    Lighter battery
    Lighter sprockets and chain (when my shit wears out)
    Lighter exhaust
    Lighter rotors
    Smaller mirrors

    No plans for my conversion....i'd like to keep this bike as a trail bike or a beater and get a fuel injected supermoto....

    And then sending the Ducati back every 100 miles for warranty work... Haha
    I'd love to get a WR450 or CRF450 for supermoto and then keep the CRF250L for trails. I don't necessarily need to touch with both feet for supermoto, definitely want to for a trail bike...
    Just have both sets a tires and swap like I plan to do. Only take like 15 minutes at the most. Going to get some Pirelli Scorpion XCMH's for dirt tires... :cool:

    I'm not investing money in wheels for this bike. Its not worth it.

    You do realize your bike will get noticeably shorter on 17s right? You'll probably be more comfortable with them on the bike vs the stock wheel/tire combo
