    Naw mines a trail monster.

Would definitely like a street legal bike though. Always wanted a CBR or something but lately I've been giving some thought into a used Vstar and making a bobber out of it.

I mean just look at it...

Could give or take the handlebars but those are all preference.

Yeah, but I don't need to able to touch with both feet for supermoto stuff nearly as much as I would for off roading. So my 250 would work better for me as on off road bike since it's a lot shorter than a 450 set up for off road.

So on your 250 both of your feet can touch the ground at the same time? Like flat footed?

Nearly. I know I'll be able to on supermoto tires.

All of the DRZ's, 426's, and 450's I've ever ridden on have had supermoto tires, and there's no way I would ever feel comfortable taking them off road without doing some serious modification.

Plus I think my 250 is perfect for off roading. Plenty of power for me. It's only when I'm on the road that I wish I had more power.

Has nothing to do with the wheels or tires. Has to do with the fact I'd have to modify the height quite a bit so that I feel comfortable off roading it. There have been a few times on my current bike that scared me just because I didn't have good footing when I needed it, let alone something taller.

Yup, the shorter dual sport/atv ones. I haven't worn them a ton of times. I usually only wear them when I know there's a chance of off roading. So far I like them now that they started loosening up.

They took a little bit to get used to with shifting up due to how thick the toe section is, but that only took about 3 rides. I may adjust the shifter up one notch when I get back and see if that works out better. The first week I wore them they protected me from getting a tree branch jammed into my shin, only leaving a small scuff to the boots. I'd say they do their job well haha

Oh yeah, the steel toe guard is fun too. Creates sparks when you slide them over the pavement and it freaks people out haha

I had some really similar Fly's for a while. They were the shorter/dual sport style just like that.

I like them shorter so it's not awkward wearing them with jeans over them.

I dont think my jeans would fit over any boot :anonymous:

I almost ordered boots the other day, thinking i want some for the drz instead of tennis shoes when i really ride

That's what happens when you wear skinny jeans! :p

My jeans are all boot cut, so they fit pretty well.

I'd definitely get something instead of tennis shoes, gonna have a bad time if that bike falls on your ankle. At a minimum I wear my military boots.

They arent skinny skinny, just slim. Dont like the baggy loose around the legs.

Ive already dropped it. Im gonna wear my steel toe boots this trip, but i still want something with buckles/higher protection
