Just want to say again how much I love Rocky Mountain ATV/MC.

Got an email saying that my radiator parts were finally in stock, but paypal wouldn't release the funds since the order was already partially paid.

Gave them a call, somebody picked up immediately, and within 5 minutes it was paid and is getting shipped as I type this.

Rode around the state park for about an hour. Always forget how much I love this thing!

Also, I noticed a few weeks ago that the oil looked low. Rode around and let everything warm up. Oil level went back to the middle like normal.

Spent all day working on the bike. Installing new clutch plates, springs, and radiator.

Took my time and made sure everything was lining up correctly. Get everything bolted up and start filling the radiator with engine ice. Not 2 seconds later the BRAND NEW radiator that took TWO MONTHS to get to me starts leaking...

So with that, bike's probably going to be down for a while.

Time to see how good Rocky Mountains ATV/MC's customer service is!

I thought yours now were just bent? Id put them back on if you want to ride.

Then do a kitchen sink test on the new ones when you get them. Replace at will later

Well it also has a small leak to it so depending on how long it takes to get a new one I might install the old one if I really want to ride. Just don't feel like doing another coolant flush.

Yeah, definitely will be testing it before install next time.

Its pretty great. They'll probably find one and send it before asking you to send the faulty one back.

Why did you need a new clutch already?

    Do you suck or what?

    That'd be awesome!
No, I'm upgrading it to stiffer springs and getting rid of the judder springs which makes the bike intentionally slip the clutch in certain situations to make it easier to ride for new riders. Getting rid of it allows more direct power to the wheel.

    Gottcha.

Should've bought a DRZ dunno how long this clutch will last but i've beaten the ever living fuck out of it and it still grabs as hard as it did when it first broke in.

I really should know how long it should last, should keep that info on hand....

Should also inquire about how long my chain and sprockets will last....the chain looks like ass and has stretched A LOT, the sprockets seem fine...but Fuck if i know

    Ain't scurrd.

Rode a dr650 with the stiff spring upgrade and didn't like it. It engages too rough and abruptly. Not to the point that I would stall, never stalled it, but it made clutching up a wheelie feel extremely violent.

Guess it just depends on the bike. Every other bike I've ever been on has a stiffer clutch pull than mine. So the upgrade doesn't make it much stiffer than most bikes from the factory.

I need all the help I can get with power, so it'll be interesting to see how it changes things.
