Came around a tight corner in some deep grass and didn't see some logs and about lost the bike haha stuck my foot out and just pushed it on forward. I'm learning

Can't wait to get rid of the oem blinkers. Seeing them without mirrors is growing on me....

It'll be a motard eventually. Might not happen until Spring though.

Yup, but there isn't anywhere near as much dirt trails to ride on in my area of Missouri. Out here in Texas the knobby's are great though.

There are a lot of trails in my area thats why i'm leaning more towards the dirt version. I'd love to have a DRZ400SM with the stock set up and a dirt set up, that would be ideal but its cheaper and easier to just buy the dirt model and run mild knobbies

Yeah, we'll see how much dirt there actually is out there. Love how it handles right now though.

I'd definitely go for the dirt setup for your first setup though.

Nothing wrong with the current ones. They're DOT, they just don't last very long haha

I'll be getting these Michelin's next.

As much as I'd love to do that, it's mostly farmland and I don't care to get shot haha

Although there are a couple walking paths I've already seen that would be some fun... :spy:

I've put about 100 miles on it now haha

Filling up the tank was interesting... I've never filled up a tank so small at a gas pump.

Drove it to the gf's house and when I left I decided to go down to the dam. Wish I would of had the GoPro. Watched a guy flying an rc plane at the mini-runway and jumped a few ditches...

I'll have to go back down there before I leave.

Ordered a Kouba 1.75" lowering link. Should be here next Thursday and I'll probably install it and raise the forks in a couple weeks.

Did some more research on an adjustable lowering link for the bike. Apparently the adjustable design is TERRIBLE and has snapped on street bikes. Let alone a bike that's going to be cycling much longer suspension numbers. Makes sense now that I think about it though haha
