Yeah, that's what everybody on the CRF250L forums say as well haha

My bike will have more expensive suspension than my truck does if I do it though. Which is pretty sad.
Yeah, best way to combat that is probably a completely new rear shock. Other than rider position of course.

True, guess you could do that too. Only $270 including labor vs a good $600+ for a new shock.

It's not. It actually smooths out the bike. Just like upgrading suspension does on the trucks.

Hope that didn't cost you a lot. Brake lines were super easy to install...

    i think it was $70

obviously i can install them Brent. I just hate bleeding brakes. I dont feel like i am good enough at it to get the best results every time, so i will pay someone to assure me that they are perfect

Eh, I haven't either. But I didn't feel like waiting on tools to mount my supermoto tires.

Guess I'll try installing my own tires when I put new ones on the dirt wheels.

What tire spoons, etc do you use? I tried helping a friend take off some old drierotted tires from his dirt wheels and it sucked.

These two/similar ones I picked up from the cyclegear. Haven't found a tire that I couldn't do yet.

Cool. I almost bought some of those for my supermoto wheels, but they decided to balance out themselves.

The stock suspension on the crf and the wr are surprisingly cheap compared to the klx. From the factory i get a compression adjustable front with a remote reservoir rear that has compression and rebound adjustment which makes a world of difference just in clickers alone. The crf and wr from what i hear are preload only which is basically useless

Good idea doing a build thread for your bike.

I'd do the same but instead of a build thread it would be called a "Keeping this pile of shit running till I get a better bike" thread.

Pretty sure I saw @Sacrifice headed south on I-35 yesterday with the DR on the back. Making me consider just jumping to a DR myself

So long as you add the Z because with just the other two letters, you're seriously kidding yourself.
