This is the build thread for my new bike. This is my daily driver to replace the Tacoma. Much better gas mileage ;)

Just bought it on September 28, 2016 with 1 mile on it. As of March 17th, 2018 it has 18,564 miles on it. Mileage will increase fairly quick due to my 70 mile commute.

    Sure haha

All I know is this thing will go from 0-100 crazy fast. Getting to 120 is a bit of a struggle, but good enough for me.

Did my first accidental wheelie yesterday, and now it's all I want to do after every light :bikewheelie:

It's taking a lot for me not to order a tail tidy. Ruins how good the bike looks so much...

Yeah. I consider myself very lucky so far. Depending on how you look at it, the bright side of Vegas is that there aren't enough cops for how big the city is.
When I ride the 250, I'm in places where cops are never at. With the FZ I'm kind of going faster than I probably should on very public areas... :anonymous:

No. I'm going to make myself get a rad guard, frame sliders, and axle sliders first. Protection before looks for now. I want an akra sooo bad. But I don't have $894 to spend on it right now.

Found a new idea for rear turn signals... Can't decide if I want to do this, or just get a taillight with integrated signals.

Yeah, but having leds behind the exhaust mesh area would be more noticeable. Not as convenient or plug and play though...

No need to over complicate it. Just go simple and clean. The brighter the better. And solder/heatshrink everything

Definitely. I always buy the harness companies make so it's all plug and play and I don't have to cut any OEM wiring. Super easy.

Also, had the front tire try to slip out on a fairly mild turn. I didn't see anything on the road that would have caused it. Not sure if it's because the tire only has 300 miles on it or if it was because of passenger weight over the back tire. :notsure:

Probably should get it thoroughly broken in and be more comfortable with it before hauling passengers. I've only done it a couple times and i do not enjoy it at all.

It's not bad. The wind really sucked though. Was apparently gusting at 20-25mph and of course was coming in sideways.
