That would probably happen to me with my luck

Haven't noticed any exhaust leak yet.

Well considering it isn't broken ;)

Fork seal started leaking again, so this time I pulled down the dust cover and got the dirt that was behind it out. 4 hours later and no leaks. We'll see if it stays that way this time before I bother putting the guard back on.

Finally got around to removing the silly reflectors. Oh, and tried chain wax. We'll see if it flings less.

Chain wax is all I use. It never gets anywhere.

Good to know. Seemed to make less of a mess when spraying it on.

My frame sliders from Vagabond Motorsports arrived today.
    http://www.vagabondmotorsports.com/products/yamaha-fz-07-2015-frame-sliders?variant=1557044673

I chose these frame sliders because, unlike all other frame sliders for the FZ-07, the Vagabond frame sliders bolt on by utilizing the OEM drain hole that is on each side of the frame. Other sliders require that you replace the OEM bolt that connects the motor to the frame with a longer one that a frame slider can attach to. I personally don't feel comfortable replacing an OEM bolt that provides structural integrity to the frame with a cheap aftermarket one.

You can see the hole for the bolt as well as the o-ring that prevents moisture and other debris from getting behind the slider. Took a lot harder hit than I expected with a mallet to get the o-ring on the slider into the frame.

Both frame sliders come with two threaded holes in case one gets damaged in a fall, etc.

Here is the drain hole that is in the frame from the factory.

    And the finished product.

I use belray oring/xring safe spray chain wax. Jack the bike up and wrap a paper towel in my hand and spray the wax down through the chain at the rag

The one I bought is the Maxima Chain Care Kit. Comes with a degreaser that you scrub the chain after applying, then spray off the chain with water, then spray mppl which displaces water and prevents rust, then spray on the chain wax. Still flung a little on the wheels. But not as bad as traditional chain lube.

Yeah, here's the thread showing how he did it. For a little while somebody was making them for people.

Well I know what ill be doing this winter, such an awesome idea. I found a integrated taillight that was neat but every time I follow someone with an integrated taillight its always difficult to notice when they have their turn signal on. I don't know if its just the red that overpowers the orange when looking at it or because the actual turn signal is just so small because it has to share room with the brake light. Either way that dudes idea is what I'm going with

Now to figure out my front turn signals

Nice. I'm not sure yet if I'm doing it. I want to get some fluorescent yellow mesh to put in there and don't know if I want to do both.

I just can't stand how the stock turn signals look, its almost worse how close together they are so thats why I don't think i will like led replacements. You going to buy an exhaust anytime?

Yeah, I hate the stock pumpkin signals haha I love my integrated taillight on my CRF, but don't care too much for the ones for the FZ.

Yeah, I'm going to get the Akrapovic Titanium exhaust eventually. Waiting until I finish getting sliders, a tail tidy, and blinkers. I would love to have it now...
