I am in the middle of my PCV Hose replacement. And I noticed where the grommet sits in the engine its pretty sludgy inside. Is this a problem? Should I clean it out before i put the new grommet and hose to the hole? Or is it supposed to be a bit dirty and sludgy in there? Thanks!

If you are going to clean it you are going to want to pull the valve cover. What you are looking at is the back of "windage tray" mounted to the valve cover.

Looking at that again it reminds me of what you got mixing the Early Synthetic oils with Regular oils

Ok thanks. Yeah I just bought this one 5 months ago. I actually just changed the oil 4000k miles ago. And I used Synthetic Blend Valvoline to change the oil.
