    Thanks for chiming in @Drainbung. The hitch is much higher on our bumper compared to stock and customers will run a variety of drop hitches. Depending on the trailer style and vehicle setup it seems 6" is about the sweet spot for most applications.

    Repost from other Pelfreybilt thread:Anyone have up close pictures of the hybrid bumper? From the inside, front, and side? I have a full hoop steel bumper that got wrecked and so may have to cut it up and weld on some tubing to make a hybrid.

    I am going to buy the standard rear bumper but wanted some opinions. I have to have it shipped as I live in Maryland and want to have it black powder coated. Not sure how the bumper is packaged, but am assuming it is just strapped to a pallet. Is it safe to have Pelfeybilt powder coat it, or buy it in bare steel and have it powder coated locally? Am a bit worried about the powder coating getting damaged during shipping.

    What does everyone else do?

    My friend David had them powder coat his bumper and had it shipped over to northern Va, and it’s still holding up great.

    If you’re worried about it getting damaged, you could have it shipped bare and have @Mobtown Offroad powdercoat it as they have a really good local company they use.

    Either option would work!

    While I did not have my bumper powder coated - I can tell you they package really well.... so had it been powder coated I bet it would have held up

    Thx for the info, I have a local place that will powder coat it for $300.00. Which is a bit more than having pelfreybilt powder coat it. Worried bout it being damaged since it is a long wait
