Pelfreybilt Information Release

The leadership and advisors of Pelfreybilt are in active discussions with potential investors to secure funding for the near future to continue business operations. Our intention is to "right the ship" within the next 45 days and begin taking new contracts to build cash flow; however, these plans are entirely contingent on the outcome of these discussions. We will release another statement after the Labor Day weekend when we have a clearer picture of the negotiations.

Good luck with the discussions! Seriously want you to succeed for entirely selfish reasons (like purchasing your products) .... but it's the thought that counts.

 

Hopefully existing orders (like mine) won't be affected.

 

They were a little active on FB last night / this morning.

 

It's not worthwhile, (in my opinion) it would have been better for them to have waited to say something in a official capacity versus responding to a angry comment.

Their last post is what they should have lead off with and a reassurance that they wouldn't leave people hanging.

 

This is pretty crappy imo. It sucks they way they are handling this whole situation and it also sucks because they make some super nice gear (some of the nicest out there). There reputation has fallen very very badly and i think the sale rate afyer this is over will be hurt very badly

 

Wow not good ... why be combative with customers. They are holding they’re money!
I for one won’t use them even if they find funding which sounds unlikely.

 

In for an update. Placed my order in June. Held off cancelling over the weekend but if I don't hear some sort of assurance I'm not getting screwed I will start a claim today.

Couldn't have said it better myself. The other Pelfreybilt thread got out of hand just a few hours after being unlocked. I'm hoping this one doesn't go the same way, but as you say, I think it would help if they got in front of it and laid out some real info. People may not like it, but it will at least keep the drama lamas away. Also, I think most people are overlooking/ discounting whatever personal details are involved within the family at the present time.

Edit: The thread I mentioned above is a 'great' example of how quick shit can go sideways on here

I've got alot of PB items on my truck and we've supported each other in various needs within the aftermarket industry, i am also a early paid in full for the 3rd gen swingout (feb 13th) It's admittedly not looking good, and im hoping they get what they need to right the ship. At this time im considering this a lesson, never pay in full for anything. Im 5 months past any dispute recourse and up to the mercy of the people behind the wheel of the company.

I really like Tyler and Satin and if this goes south don't harbor any ill will but will be really bummed at how all this played out.

Just in general

 

I mean really what the fuck am i going to do? If this goes that route Im out $$, they're out of business. I can still earn money, theyve got kids and no income. Our problems are light years apart. While this is in no way an excuse for how theyve run PB behind the scenes it's just worlds different.
