    It's appx 8" from the grille, the holes actually add strength, they are dimple died

    LS1-T56 swap, Z06 ported heads, cam, Titanium valves, Kevlar clutch. Now building a forged stroker (383) and all the ponies! Old setup was rod-knockin on heaven's door...
    I usually get them custom made in Escondido at the spring shop, whatever thickness or length you want and comes with nuts and 1/4" washers, for I think around $70 for a set, he makes them while you wait, kinda cool to see.

    Sorry you guys had to search out the pic, I threw it up on live to get it in the gallery to put in here, I just didnt have a chance lastnight.

    Things are coming along good. Only fight I am having is the parallelism below the fenders, I have glass fenders on mine and they are far from perfect so I sorta have to fit this one to my truck and build another one that I can make a jig off of for all the other trucks.
