I haven't had any trouble with mine. They stay locked in place and I can adjust them with just the turn of a nut and the hex bolts on the side? No movement at all :notsure:

I am considering getting the amber cover for the D2's. Don't know if that will allow me to use them on the road or not since it will be slightly diffused. But they are cheap so it's worth a shot.

Awesome. I think for now, the 8" will be great. When I get my rear bumper (Oh ya, that's coming  ) then I may request the 18" for the tailgate.

    (Sorry-can't find the original post!!)

We are not able to make tabs because it’s a @RigidIndustries item. If the strength is a concern then that would be something to address with Rigid. We nave never had an issue with the single bolt mount but by all means if you feel it could be improved feel free to reach out to them! :)

Thanks for this comparison. Definitely see a difference. Yeah I run the ambers because of where I live. Not always foggy but we have like 10-20 days a year where driving to work visibility sucks.

Quoted the wrong post. I'm happy with the mounting bracket on the rigid :)

    Stupid question,

The IFS skid replaces the two factory skids?

Not a stupid question! Our IFS skid replaces all the factory skid, (2 pieces)-all the way back to the cross member :)

How much does the stock tow hitch weigh?

I'm trying to see the weight I would gain with removing that and adding a new bumper.

My stock rear bumper and tow hitch is probably 70lbs combined.

I doubt you'll shed weight going to any steel bumper besides maybe a hybrid. In that case if you do get a new rear you better get a high clearance :D

I have a 97 pound steel rear bumper right now and still have the factory tow hitch. I was trying to figure out the combined weight there haha.
