Do you plan to run skids too? You can run the 886 which is the heavier coil to compensate for weight but same length as the 885. Or run the 887 which is longer but will be a smoother ride

There are only 2 OE bolt holes available for me to use in that location.
If it was bolted, it would be 1/4" to 1/2" higher than pictured.

Yup. Same situation on your 2010, even with a different master cylinder...

I think we have the same masters. The OR is different because of ATRAC or whatever. Which this panel was designed around.

I'll eventually get to skids. Armor is pricey, so its one step at a time. Next step is sliders, then bumper and winch, then skids. Right now I'm running 885s. Unless I get a nice insurance claim (how I got the rear pelfreybilt!), it will be a slow process.

Had the same issue with mine. I ended up having to cut the extra breaker out.

I'm eventually gonna find a better way to clean up the edge.

I would put the bumper on and see how it sits with your current 885's, if you aren't happy with the ride height or ride then make a change but i'd wait and see what its like. I would probably go with 886's though if you do change

That's what I was thinking. Thanks

Wondering if anyone in here has any first hand experience with this. It's a ways down the road for me but I only ever see people talk about 650s vs 700s.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I have a steel bumper in the works, a winch, armor, sliders, and my fat ass; I'm going with 886s.

I went from 885 to 886 when I installed my front bumper. The front didn't dip, but when I installed all 4 skid plates, that was when I noticed a drop. Also my front end was too soft for me with the sway bar removed. Now I have kings with the 700# coils and it's a little stiffer.

So you stepped up to 886's before or after the bumper? And did you notice the drop with the skids when you were already on 886s?

I installed the bumper, then a week later the 886s. There was no diff. I then installed the skids, that was when I noticed a drop.
