Thanks man. I noticed I need to crank my Icons a bit! I still have adjustment room!

I had the same issues with both the reinforcement brackets and shackle mounts. Drilled both out a little bigger and removed the powder coat on the shackles and they fit fine now.

Good to know. Did you drill the hole in the bracket bigger or the hole in the frame bigger?

I should have done the bracket but it was getting dark and I was getting impatient so I did the frame. I also hit it with some self etching primer after the drill. If the slots in the brackets were going the other way it would have been perfect. I had a step down bit that I used for the shackle mounts that worked great. It needed the last step down.

I am thinking I will just do the frame, I only need about 1/4 of play to get the bolt trough the hole once its all pulled together that thing isn't going anywhere. But I agree if the slot was the other direction it would of been perfect.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Reinforcement mounts worked fine for me.

Drilling out the shackle mounts either tonight or tomorrow with a 1" bit. Should be a 2 beer job. One per mount.

    :)

My slots sat about 1/4 off with everything bolted and tight. Thankfully I can throw them on at a later date and didn't hinder installing the bumper itself.

Damn lucky! Yeah even with mine drilled out right below in inch I had to remove the powdercoating on the shackle to get it in there. Not too bad.

For anyone else attempting, they may want to get a 6-pack

If you drive without the brackets, you will be shunned by society until you install them.

    SHUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

I don't see why it wouldnt be...I am haha. Bumper is solid on there. Now pulling with a winch, I would definitely have them on there!

You'll be fine driving around without the brackets. I did for a week till I found my sway bar bolts. Just don't pull or get pulled with the recovery point till you get the brackets on.

Awh that's too bad about the logo in the cover..

I got rid of my sway bar and bolts a long time ago, does any body happen to know what size they are so I can pick some up before the bumper gets here?
