Does my hoop look taller than normal? I'm getting a lot of that on the other threads, can someone measure the height of there's to confirm so I know it's normal height?

I'm curious about this also. I have a center hoop bumper on order and this picture made me go look at a couple of other pictures. I'm not looking for that much height...

(edit: It looks like the '12-'15 bumpers have a lower hoop than the earlier ones?)

Because once my fillers are snapped in properly they're well out of the way from the bumper.
Look at the gap he'd normally have when the trim piece is in the correct position. No way in hell it flexes that much from regular driving.

It does look high but could be the angle. I took a pic of mine with a tape measure. Mind you its hard to get a good measurement but its basically 13" to the top of the center hoop measured off the bumper.

Very true. That is weird then. I just poked around on mine and can't see how the bumper could be contacting those trim pieces.

Oh hell yeah, sometime I regret going with the hoop but I do appreciate the extra piece of mind. That is one clean look though.

I'm curious if you removed those trim pieces when you swapped the OEM with the Pelfrey bumper? The inner tabs are extremely easy to break when those body pieces are removed. All I'm saying is that it's possible the inner tabs are broke and they might be coming loose while you are driving...independent of the bumper movement. Just an observation and worth checking.

Got a question for y'all. Does anybody have a Fumoto valve with a Pelfrey skid plate? I'm wondering specifically about the one with the nipple to attach a hose. I want to know what the clearance between the valve and skid is. Don't want to hit a rock and jam the skid into the valve.

While I'm typing might as well ask another. Can anyone recommend a 20" light bar for the front bumper? I'm looking to stay around $150 but i could go up depending on the bar. I would really like one with the amber DTR lights but it's not required. I know Baja Designs makes one but they are $$$ and I don't live in the "best" neighborhood and I would cry if it got stolen. Thanks!

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I have one on. Make sure you get the smaller one.

    http://www.amazon.com/F103S-12mm-1-25-Fumoto-Drain-Nipple/dp/B004FFELTM

Or just get the regular one and cut it down some. Easily done with a Dremmel. I've wheeled with the valve on, and drug across rocks without issue.

I have a 20" laght bahr from @SMKYTXN in my grill. Waiting to save up some money before I put one in the bumper. But I'm happy with how bright it is. No sealing issues either.

I plan to run one of these in my bumper! So far my dealings with Black oak have been solid, fantastic customer service and a great product. I have a set of pods from them and I compared them to the set of rigids I have, They are the same, same housing, mount, etc. But have better LEDs inside!

The smaller nipple one isn't eligible for Amazon Prime for some dumb reason and I was planning on doing it this weekend. Will probably do like you suggested and cut the longer one down. Thanks!

I run the regular valve without the nipple. The oil just shoots straight thru the hole in the skid plate :)
