Satin, unrelated topic, but I wanted to thank you for the great service and rear bumper. I'm really happy with it. @Pelfreybilt

Do my sliders look like they're on properly? I had them unbolted by a place in town today, then they Rhino Lined them, and bolted them back on. Only reason I'm asking is because the gap between the front passenger door and the slider looks too big but maybe it's just because I'm not used to them being rhino lined. @Pelfreybilt could you guys upload some install instructions in case I have to check to make sure these are properly? I mean they're bolted on tight and sturdy just like before and definitely not going anywhere but I'm just curious about the positioning

Please help! It's driving me crazy looking at it and not knowing if it looks normal

Can anyone share pictures of their rock sliders mounted to the frame at the point where they mount?

Yeah it looks the same on both sides, but I don't remember it ever looking like that before, it looked like this prior to being unbolted and rhino lined:

Unless there's something I can't see, the before and after looks the same.

Look at the gap between the slider and the bottom of the rocker panel, in the first pictures I posted you can see how the gap gets larger from the rear door to the front passenger door. In the picture I posted with my truck all clean, you can tell that the gap stays even throughout

Ok. I see what you're talking about. It looks like the slider is bent. Can you snap some pics of the mounting surface?

Did you install them the first or second time? Pretty sure there is some clearance in the mounting holes that should allow for proper alignment. :notsure:

Yeah either that or it's just mounted too low, here's some pics of where it's mounted, it looks like the mounts in the front are sitting too low and not pushed up as far as they could've been, because the slider mounting points are pretty much flush with the frame until they get closer to the front of the truck, then they drop slightly below the frame

I had them installed perfectly the first time, then this place in town unbolted them to rhino line them, and put them back on and now they look uneven

They just didn't line them up when they reinstalled them. I would say to just loosen the bolts up and realign at home!

That's what I was hoping it'd need, I thought it looked sort of out of alignment but wanted to make sure I wasn't just seeing things lol

Was thinking I was delusional or something at first  I'll just have someone hold up the front end while I tighten it back down into a more flush position

Must have been a pretty hard hit! where did it tweak? You sure the mounting points just didn't slip? Seriously having a hard time seeing where you could bend one of these!?!?

I tweaked my Rear Stock bumper. e98e4fffb54cab594061b080e5567f87_7e7ecd27c71d56d126bb24c333a774d4db0c1ed6.jpg

This is the only rear shot I have but the gap under the drivers tail light is too tight. It's not noticeable unless you compare to the passenger side.
But I think I need to bang it up some more before the Misses will say ok.
