Picked my bumper and skids up today. Everything goes on Saturday; I can hardly wait.

Spoke with Satin at Pelfreybilt and confirmed my order for an Aluminum Plate Bumper with Rigid DOT/SAE Fog Lights and Flipster License Plate Bracket, Aluminum IFS Skid Plate and Standard Steel Rear Bumper, all powder coated matte black! The reason why I chose steel for the rear bumper because the stock rear bumper with tow hitch weigh around 80 pounds. The Pelfreybilt Standard Steel Bumper weighs 85 pounds thus not adding excess weight in the rear. An aluminum rear bumper was considered, but the rear would lose 50 pounds and traction. Pelfreybilt does not make an aluminum rear bumper but All Pro and Aluminess make aluminum rear bumpers. Plus steel is stronger also, good for mofos tailgating too close and better rear collision protection. Now the waiting begins!

I have to admit...the split paint scheme on the bumper looks good! I contemplated that myself. Truck looks sweet!

I want someone to rear end my truck so I can justify a rear plate bumper.

You can always carry a couple snatch blocks to get you up to 24,000lbs (minus) with a 8-S winch. Just something to think about. I'd be careful with that much force on Aluminum though.
