Perfect that's where I've mounted mine- and you did no other cutting right? I know some folks cut that center bar so they can mount it in the center.

No cutting at all, just slid it over and wrenched it down tight, very tight. It has not moved, took the pic last night.

    Odds and Ends
Locking pin for the latch or the one that holds the gate in the open position?

The one that holds it open is installed in place during assembly and should align properly. The pin that holds the latch mechanism closed is from an outside manufacturer that makes the entire latch assembly. I have found some of the latched are a bit out of alignment. What I have done is unscrew the spring pin and with the latch in the closed position I run a drill or reamer through the hole, this will clean up any misalignment issues. A 3/8" drill or reamer works perfect.
If for some odd reason the pin that holds the gate open is the culprit you can easily use this same method.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

Will my warn zeon 8 winch fit directly into my Pelfrey three hoop? Or will I have to relocate that little solenoid on top somewhere else? Pictures are appreciated!

On the 09 you will most likely need to relocate. I have a vr10000 and had to relocate.

If I do have to relocate it, I would prefer to just keep it inside the bumper somewhere and not under the hood. Wondering if anybody has done something similar

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I don't have a Warn, but here's where I relocated mine. May give you some ideas.

You should be able to do something like @greeneggsnspam did. I chose to place mine under hood since it's the larger style that has the individual solenoids to keep it out of the elements.

Nice, love those Kings. That's what I will be stepping up to next. Bumper looks great on your truck.

IMG_2177.jpg IMG_2172.jpg IMG_2176.jpg Squeezed an onX6 light bar and a warn zeon 10-s without a relocation pack into my bumper today. That thing is snug. I had to cut off the small bracket that attaches to the bumper/grille and massage the rest back with a hammer but it fits.

For those of you with a rear swing out, make the most out of those extra rivets you get.
