Mine is almost a matte black with a touch of gloss in it.

The guy that did my PC'ing said that it is a tiger drylac black matte and that Tiger Drylac Black Matte Touch-Up Pen should match... but it was more of a gloss than anything else, luckily it was only on a small portion and I forget about it now.

 

I may try this honestly and see if it matches better.

 

We have found the standard rustoleum satin black is also a good match!

 

Perfect, will try that out instead of the other Rustoleums that I have on hand...

 

I presume the standard procedure would be:
- Sand gently
- Tape off area
- Apply lightly

And then there is the question whether this or the satin black would work best, considering there is a good cost difference. Decisions!

Maybe sand/wire brush if there is rust.
Tape off your body work so you don't get over spray on it.

If you wait long enough, most vendors will have a sale during "large" national holidays. I believe 4th of July might be the next one (not sure if PB will celebrate 'Merica's birthday). At the very least black Friday is a popular time to buy. armor. There's always that one guy that buys armor in October and inevitably posts: "Can I get a discount on an order I already placed?"

Never had an issue with it. Used it a butt load so far. You can't go wrong. Got mine from @HeadStrong Off-Road.

 

Now... my powdercoat was not done by Pelfreybilt but by a local guy that I have been using for other things, so it is not a 100% match it is little more glossy... but it is really really close and I am pretty damn happy with the outcome.

So I am going to bet that it would be an even better match to the powdercoat that Pelfrebilt uses.

The bottom half of the bumper got some damage that was to bare metal as well as ripping my front plate off... so needed to paint it. So I just taped it off and sprayed two coats on the bottom half of the bumper.

Note: I have had the bumper on since Dec 2016 so it has seen at least one Texas summer and a lot of washes as well as a couple trees, bushes, and such... It is not pampered at all.

Anyone have up close pictures of the hybrid bumper? From the inside, front, and side? I have a full hoop steel bumper that got wrecked and so may have to cut it up and weld on some tubing to make a hybrid.
