They will strengthen the frame by adding support, as would a bolt on version. Bolt on is not a bad way to go by any means. If you hit them hard enough to bend them or the frame just be happy you have them. To remove, yes, you would have to grind or chop off. Weld on versions are always going to be more stout than bolt on and do not require drilling additional holes in the frame like with most bolt on's. The weld on version is better in my opinion but its also more permanent, some folks just like bolt on's

What's the lead time on a set of sliders? I was looking at Hybrid DCLB w/KO

Few weeks, add an extra if you want em powdercoated.
With group buys for bumpers going on its adding a little time to other orders

Icon MT suspension, Pelfreybuilt front bumper, Relentless skids, Avid sliders, Avid custom rack. Pelfreybilt HC Rear bumper.
I have one of Tylers 2012 Front plate bumpers (it is the green truck on page 1). Great bumper! Real strong without being too heavy. I have the Warn M8000 winch with synthetic line in the bumper and it only brough my front down about 3/8", no need to get stiffer springs IMHO. I have the ICON ext travel coilovers.

My nickel's worth on sliders is to weld them on, makes the whole truck stronger! I bought local to save on shipping, but had them built to Pelfreybuilt specs.

Any chance you have a group buy in the near future for your roof rack? Really liked it at Taco fest!

It will probably be a bit before we do a GB for the roof racks. Doing several bumper GB's back to back then maybe we can do some racks.

 was trying to decide between yours and another Baja rack but seeing it in person definitely sold me on yours! Would it be possible to add 2 more cross bars for rack pads? something right behind the faring? Don't want it to interfere with the LED.

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
Stopped in at the shop today. Tyler's got a mad stash of bent metal in there, all in various stages of becoming front bumpers. Get in on that group buy while it's open, y'all!

Working on it. There will be 4 configurations of the rear, standard and hi-clearance. With and without gates.
