Keep waiting :) he did say a couple months from now back on the 9th of May. Tyler really does try to make the best product he can for these trucks. Realistically probably still 3-4months is my guess.

(Been waiting since last September but I know it'll be worth it!)

it would be nice if you are going to be over a week delayed (after a 10 week wait) that you would inform customers. the lack of communication while waiting so long is kinda discouraging.

Agree. I cancelled my order for sliders and rear bumper after the wait exceeded 11 weeks. Way to long to build those types of products. You have nice stuff but manufacturing has to be augmented

I completely agree with you guys. The waits have been reaching out too long recently. Sliders have been the main issue, were not used to the volume we have seen recently, several hundred were ordered all in a matter of a couple weeks, were starting to finally get back on track but its been quite the battle.
Were also bringing on more staff soon to help with status updates and job management so when these types of things happen we can better communicate with our customers.
Along with the additional help were also moving to a larger facility where we can start building more inventory, currently we are busting at the seams and cannot keep anything on the floor in excess of whats immediately needed.
While none of these improvements will affect the current customers that are frustrated, we are doing all we can to improve moving forward.

We are genuinely sorry to see the condition of the skid as it was delivered, I can understand the frustration after waiting 2 weeks, typically its only one week for powderocat of stock items but as you stated, yours had to be redone so it took an additional week.

Trust me, these things frustrate me as well, the condition of the packaging tells quite a story. We go to great lengths with custom boxes and heavy foam to avoid these problems, to see items arrive like this did after all that effort to protect the item is very frustrating.

We offered the touch up powder spray as a quick solution, since it’s a skid plate that may be an easier option for some people rather than hassle with a claim to Fed-Ex. The damages that can occur in shipping are out of our control which is why we have the disclaimer. We do however offer to help file the claim with Fed-Ex since the damages occur on their watch, that is also listed in the disclaimer, I believe that was offered directly in this case as well.

This was clearly a mishandled package based on the photos, Fedex would likely offer compensation for the powdercoat if we were given the opportunity to file such claim.

I do understand your position and cannot blame you for being dissatisfied
Again, I am very sorry for your bad experience, I hate that you have a soured taste because of a mishandled shipment.

I have bought a couple things from Pelfreybilt. Everything showed up on time or sooner. In my experience the customer service was outstanding. But hey sometimes a company gets a random shit ton of orders and a couple customers items get delayed. It happens and always will.

Just want everyone to know how happy I am with the service and products I recently purchased from Pelfreybilt. Placed order online, received a tracking number the very next day, and one day later picked up a box full of stuff. Outstanding. Thank you.

    Tyler,

Just FYI my skids that I got in Dec last year showed up with the packing material in shambles as well. FedEx does not seem to take any care in the packages and when they show up (specifically the skids) the cardboard box is like the pics shown. Whatever abuse the package is put through while in the shippers hands is to much for the current packaging. It seems the skids slide around and end up destroying the box.

For me it didn't matter since I got them bare.

Just wanted to let you know.

I wanted to touch basis on the situation I had with Pelfreybilt's shipping of my metal skid and the way they showed up at my front door. As much as I was disappointed and pissed off at Pelfreybilt for the damage, I now understand that it was 100% FedEx's fault. FedEx did offer an apology on how they were mishandled, but they also explained the vendors disclaimer for damaged powdercoating goods that are shipped. I may have been more upset at that than I should of.

Thankfully Tyler, Satin and the crew at Pelfreybilt offered an apology and a solution to the problem and for that I'm thankful I ordered from them and not the cheaper EBay option.

Also after realizing they are skid plates and they will take a beating!

I wanted to say I took advantage of the free shipping on Memorial Day and it only took 2 weeks to come in, not bad especially for how popular these things are.

I want to commend the crew and thanks for making a great product! Good customer service is hard to find!

Here's pix of how it came out, enjoy...

@Socalduckslayer @Pelfreybilt Regarding your original question on this Thread. Twice I've picked up products at your Lemon Grove Store. I absolutely love your products. But I do have a question/request. Do your 05-15 tacoma Standard and High clearance rear have Rigid SR-Q2 flush mount cutouts? Seems that when i was in your shop, I noticed cutouts for only the Baja Design lights. But some of your pictures online show Rigid SR-Q2 Flush mount Cutouts? Can you clarify this Please?

Note: I plan on getting a rear bumper next, and I already own the Rigid SRQ-2 Flush mount lights that i hope to install on the Bumper. By the way, I noticed your truck has the Rigid cutouts. ;)

Short answer they switched from Rigid to Baja Design lights.

Older bumpers front/rear where designed using rigid lights.

I believe all new production uses Baja Design.
