Those that have Pelican boxes on there roof racks. What are you storing in them? Love the way they look just trying to think about what I would put in it. Thanks

I've always wondered this too..like the cases that are 4 inches tall? I'm guessing recovery gear and tools, other stuff that stores low profile...

I was keeping my Hi-lift and some accessories in a weatherproof box for awhile. Not a Pelican, but a quality case. Kept it dry and clean.

Bought the Harbor Freight Apache 9800 since it was $100 on Black Friday. Planning to mount to my rack and I've been wanting to keep recovery gear up there

If you like the way they look just put some up there. Put some snickers in it or something that you'll actually use

Basically anything you want that you may not need to get to a lot. Recovery gear, first aid kit, tools, rain gear, and for those who wheel hard or overland may carry extra parts etc. Helps keep the bed clear for other items and everyday use.

I use 2 Ridgid tool boxes, 1/3 the price just as waterproof. And in one I have a tarps for the bed (when I carry large objects that are taller than my tonneau) and rope/tiedowns. In the other box I carry a recovery strap, hitch shackle, and entrenching tool.

Those fencing pliers come in handy a lot. Have a few of them.

Nah, while they are for cutting fencing, they are great for cutting and twisting thick wire for emergency repairs among other things. :hattip:

Remember it's important to put heavy jacks, shackles, tools and recovery gear up high on the top of your truck where it will have the strongest impact on vehicle roll, balance and wind resistance. Also put them in rifle cases, for maximum.... Maximum something.
