Search for them on here. I asked the same question and everyone who replied had good things to say. Good enough that I would consider for how infrequently I would actually use it.

As for size, I think 8000 is the minimum. I'd say go either 9k or 12k if you can. I'd rather have and not need than vice verse.

FWIW, I have no first hand experience with winches. That's just based on what I've read.

I was just there back in December. I'll post some pics up when I get home. 2wd *should* be fine there. You can do a lot of decent trail runs, and not much requires 4wd. Just be prepared for lots of new scratches. Most of them will be able to be buffed out, but some won't.

Also, take whatever guns you have. Free unattended shooting range!

Well boys I have some bed news. I'm in this country band and we're playing in Hattiesburg Saturday night

BUT I only found out about it 10 minutes ago. Disorganized lot, that's for damn sure. I love to play music, but not at the expense of missing out on this because I was really looking forward to it.

Hopefully next time, I can make it. And if we have any gigs out y'alls way, you should come out. We mostly play in mobile, hatty, lucedale, etc.

    Bullshit...I'm still pissed. :(

Probably a week or two ago and yeah def noticed it with the tire rack in the back without the tailgate. I am debating on doing that as well. Couldn't really see the bumper the way you were parked, but the truck did look great.

    I have a few mods
well apparently my chief controller thinks its awesome to reschedule things and put them on days where I have stuff planned on my days off and make them "mandatory" even though in his emails he never once specified it WAS mandatory.......and to make things better ive had this wheelin meet planned longer than his little tower project that was originally planned for the 8th of this month. So hopefully my crew boss can work something out and ill be able to get out of this thing tomorrow that is going to take all day, if not...I have to back out. which is fucking bullshit if you ask me, you send emails out about the tower thing and not once specify that its mandatory and word it as its more of a voluntary thing and nobody was required to be there. and then yesterday apparently from what Ive heard and first time hearing it that all of us 3 levels are supposed to be there...seriously? a day before this tower thing is planned you just NOW decide to tell everyone about this?

Welcome to the military. It has a habit of ruining things. I am currently working through my own issues. Myself and Jeff, the other guys coming with me, are being told we have some BS work to do on Saturday. We are both trying to find replacements. I will have an update before the end of the day. I am annoyed with this as well, since I've had this planned for a while now.

Hola. Never thought to search for Pensacola on the forum.. Nice to see there is a solid crew. I'd love to come check out Eglin with yall tomorrow but I'm an accountant and it's tax season so I'll be at the office. I look forward to checking it out after tax season though. I'll probably make some extra dough and get some mods for my truck. Looking at billie 5100's right now. Anyway, just wanted to let yall know there is another Pcola Taco here. Party on.
