Awesome. Glad I found this. I know another handful of taco owners here that need to join up as well.

 

alright ok, so I wont be able to initially join up with you guys tomorrow, but after i think and hour or so hopefully...since this thing starts at 10 ill be able to join up with you guys depending where you guys are at around noon or sooner. Really wish I could be there for the convoy but I kinda have to be there to help prep the tower for new paint. but once the prepping is done, I should be good to go to join up with you guys, hopefully I can navigate my way to you guys, or maybe one of you depending where yall are at can back track to pick me up

 

I should be able to send you our GPS location.

 

sounds good, I might skirt over to the JG at 9 for a little and get some pics and talk, but then at like 9:30 ill need to head to the tower and then ill link up with yall when I get released

did you have that picture of the route that you had planned? was wanting to take a look at it again, it shouldnt be too crazy terrain wise...so I shouldnt have any issues linking up

 

I'll have to print off the map tomorrow morning and work out a route to our final destination since they update it daily.

 

cool cool, Im guessing since everyone that doesnt have pass will need to get one. so between that, waiting for everyone to get there and getting the route planned, you guys prob wont even head out until 10-1030 ish. So I may not even be too far behind

 

Hopefully I'll have time to plan the route before I leave but I'm sure we won't be too far along before you catch up

Raptor guy is out. He got green weenied and can't find anyone to switch. He wants to try and possibly meet up after but with as big as that area is and his never have Bern offroading I'm not sure that would work so well. But I got a new recovery strap from tractor supply today!

 

Im still in. Not sure if ill meet up with the pcola ppl at DQ or if ill just meet at JG. Got a few errands to take care of in the am.

 

hey this will be my first time going with yall and i was wondering where we will actually be trail riding and how much is it gonna cost to get the pass and what all do we need to have paperwork wise to get one?

We will be on the eglin afb training area. It's like 12 bucks for a year pass. Just need your drivers license or military id and cash. Maybe license plate number? But you can just write that down. And no you do not need a military id to get on if you don't have one. No gates to go through

 

ok thanks for the info btw i am a injured vet i got severly injured in afghanistan and well i can walk for short distances and stand for short periods of time so is there any time where i will be up on my feet for awhile cause if so ill bring my wheelchair if not ill leave it at home let me know asap plz

 

I don't imagine there is any reason why you would need to even leave your truck. More time in the truck is more time offroading. That's what I'm shooting for at least

 

Hey worst case scenario just toss it in the back of the truck and I will be more than happy to help ya with whatever you need as I am sure all the others will. Quite a few of us are active duty and will help however you need it
