People asking to borrow your truck

Nobody drives my truck except me. Maybe if I let Mallorie drive it she'll want me again...









I will haul stuff for friends, but they will not be driving my truck.

 

Ive helped alot of people move,I drive though...And I've only let girls drive my truck besides family And of course my dads driven it

 

I drive my Truck and no one else...

Not the wife, not the parents....

THey can buy or rent there own truck....

 

Only family members can borrow my truck. My friends GF is always asking to drive my truck I'm like hell no!

 

i ran into this problem when me and my sister moved out of our apartment. she was moving into my mom's across town so she decided she was going to slowly move her shit over there. only problem was, she also decided she was going to rely on using my truck without talking to me about it. I don't mind loaning it out to family once in a while if they really need it but she started pissing me off. she started borrowing it everyday for hours at a time...i would be up in my room and i'd look out my window to see my bed completely full with her shit before she even asked if she could take it... another time i let her borrow it but she ended up not coming back until midnight because she decided to go to her friends house an hour away without asking or even letting me know. let me tell you, i was fucking pissed!

so since that experience, i'm way more reluctant to lend it out. its my baby, it makes me nervous when someone else has it!

my attitude now is, if you think you're gonna need a truck, buy your own or rent one.

 

F thats!!!! Friends, family, Jesus....... noone will borrow it....... not asking??? WHOA!!!!!! Will buy a lift just run them over and not scratch my paint!!!...... well maybe not Jesus

 

My wife gets to drive it once in a while... and that's only because I know she can drive it (she had an '88 full-size Blazer before her current car)! No one else unless a good Samaritan finds me on the side of the road with both legs and an arm severed and has to drive me to the hospital.

 

Let people borrow your truck so! They'll love the Tacos and buy one themselves! Wonder how often it happens.

hah i never noticed the reserved sign above it, thats actually at my boyfriends house, they live in a sort of complex type thing so i'm not too sure what vehicle is next to that but we do have a lot of yotas in my family. 2 tacomas, 2 4runners and a yota van

the project hasn't really come that far, we have a lot of parts sitting around for it like tires, leaf springs, axle and a motor but it is currently at my mom's house an hour and a half away so its been hard to find time to go up there and work on it.

 

People is a very broad group of people, No problem if it's a good buddy but not just anyone i associate with!!!

 

the only person other than my parents that have driven my truck is one of my friends blaie.... he has a taco aswell

 

The ONLY time anyone else gets to drive is if im passed out drunk other than that i dont care if you had the tightest you know what in the world you aint drivin my truck

 

last time i let someone borrow my truck i get it back with 3 minor tears in the back seat to only have that person deny it was them!! ugh..never again!

 

I let my cousin borrow my Dodge D50 back in 1982, When it came back it needed a new clutch. I have never lent out the truck again. I will probably not lend out the Taco either.

 

I put yea, but only my dad probably. Not sure anyone else knows how to drive stick actually... and they aren't gonna learn on my new truck.

 

the only person i let drive my truck is my father, i don't trust anyone else behind the wheel considering most of my friends can't drive stick and i don't intend on letting them learn on my baby

 

Everybody is always wanting to drive my truck for one reason or another. Never gonna happen. Only my ass touches that drivers seat.

 

If someone I know needs truck assistance, I'm more than happy to help them. Do it all the time. 2 conditions: I load and drive it. If my truck is available but I'm not, tough luck.... call someone else.
