I've got 235/85R16 KO2s and so far like them a lot. I drove KO for a long time on a different truck. I do not have enough miles to comment on wear, nor how ride might change with wear. That said the ride is quite nice so far with about 2k miles on them.

Pay attention to inflation pressure, these are LT tires and should be inflated quite a bit higher than the stock Rugged Fails. As a rough reference point the Pro's that come with LT tires have a door sticker indicating a 46 PSI inflation pressure. And this is typical for more LT tires compared to P tires. Of course you can and probably should do any of the variety of tire pressure tests (e.g. chalk line) but as a starting point get to the low to mid 40s for your 265/70R16 KO2s (assuming that is what you get).

One small "negative" compared to the older KO is that the construction has changed such that if your vehicle is stored for long periods they can develop a temporary flat spot. My truck often sits for 6 months at a time and I was a bit worried about this with the KO2. Well after 6 months of storage indeed the KO2 when first driven had a slight rumble from flat spots but after some highway miles it was gone.

I don't have snow/ice experience but reading reviews from people that do the KO2 is a good performer in that regard and an improvement over the KO. And of course way, way better than a M/T tire. So ignore that advice above about looking at the KM2 - not a good choice for your environment.

As far as mileage goes I've done too much to my truck at the same time as the tires to know what is causing what. They are rather heavy tires of course and the tread is not optimized for efficiency. So expect a drop over the Rugged Fails, but how much of a drop I have no idea!

    In development!
Had mine about a month. Really like them, but they pick up and throw rocks if you drive on gravel roads. Seems excessive. But they are smooth, quiet and heavy. No snow yet.

I've had mine for 5 months (265/75/16). Road noise is not excessive, and I like the way they ride; after chalk testing them, I set them at 40 psi (cold).

I've not had them in snow, but wet road and off road traction are very good. I've had them on some rocky trails (@20 psi) and there's been no chunking.

Overall, I'm very happy with them.

Same size here. Was worried about E rating for the Taco but so far very happy with these tires (about 600 miles). 30psi F and R. No noticeable gas mileage change.

265/75R16 KO2s since early June. Great tire. Not helping with fuel economy, but that is to be expected with a tire this heavy. Don't find them noisy at all.

Far better than the Duratracs. IMO they do very well, though I am comparing to MTs, ATs, and Duratracs. People used to all season tires have commented they don't think they do as well as the best all seasons. The tires have excellent factory siping.

Running them since they came out, so about a year now. Overall happy with them, even put a set on the wife's Jeep.

Tread wear is pretty solid, so far on par with the old BFG AT KO's.

Performance is solid. Took the Jeep to Uwharrie, mostly stock Jeep JK (with Rubicon shocks), and didn't suffer for traction at all on dirt and rock at street pressure. The stone ejectors do a great job at keep the tires from holding rocks. They dig in great on gravel surfaces too.

In my limited experience in snow they've performed well.

My only issue is that when it's wet out, and the tires are cold, they get slick and hurt for traction. I have to approach turns slower or else the truck will under-steer hard. Turning onto one on ramp in particular when I leave work, the front end always plows forward hard if it's wet out. Once they warm up it's not as bad. Overall rain/wet weather performance is decent. No issues with hydroplaning or anything like that.

I have KO2's 265/70/17s Load C. When I first got them I had some significant balance issues, long story short 2 out of the 4 were bad tires. Once they were replaced with new, I haven't had those issues like before. Really quite, good grip, roll and ride smooth etc.
If I'm driving it aggressive in wet conditions, I've noticed it does wanna push in the front, thru the entrance of turns.

    Yeah they do!!

It sounds like I'm being shot at when I'm on the forest roads because of the gravel pelting my wheel wells, but I like them a lot so far.

I've had my KO2 265/75R16 mounted on stock rims, no lift kit, yea they'll fit with no rubbing, even when you're offroading. I've used them in the snow, they fare quite well. I've got a lightbar installed on my roof, pretty much everything else stock body panel wise. I've had a soft toneau on the truck, but that's what it came with, My vehicle is a 2008 toyota tacoma, double cab short bed. with these tires i can get my MPG on the highway up to 21.7mpg. again, i have a 50" curved LED lightbar on my roof, so i thought that was pretty damn good considering the air dam i have on my roof. That's running at 63mph. I've taken them offroad and i was doing what the big guys were doing around Tahuya national forest offroading area. these tires are awesome!

Fun spot, I haven't had my Taco out there but I did hit it up in my Rubi with the local Jeep club.

Researching Bilstein 6112s for the front, Bilstein 5100s for rear, Toyota light racing UCAs if needed, Pro Comp 7036 series 17s, BFG AT KO2 275/70 17s
I just installed my BFG AT KO2s, 265/70 17s, they look good and they're not any louder than my stock 265/70 16s BFG All Terrain. Haven't tried them in the Sierra Nevadas yet but will soon.
