    the only time i'll go to a pepboys is if i need crap that they CANT screw up...like wiring stuff...things like that...sometimes they have good deals on fluids too...

    i always suggest in going with the Toyota suggested scheduled maintenance plan that's in the actual owners manual. most times the dealer suggested maintenance plan is more then necessary to what the vehicle actually needs and is far more expensive...

    one thing i can't stress enough though...don't ever take your truck to jiffy lube..they will screw your truck up eventually. i know from experience, i'm working on the 2nd car this month alone that a jiffy screw has fucked up!

    I remember a discussion a while back about pulling the body on the new fords to change the oil but never actually saw a pic.

    PepBoys good for buying the goods to do your own work (oil changes, filters, wipers, etc) I would never pay them to touch my truck...which pretty much goes for anybody, other than the Stealership, even then I am skeptical.

    As for the girl that praises Jiffy Lube......always make sure they put the 710 cap back on and that they actually put oil back in the motor. I have heard of wayyy too many cases of motors blowing up because they did not put oil back in
