I just got my new truck and want to make the audio system as good as the truck itself...for me that means:

    HD radio
    iPod connection
Bluetooth for my cell phone (in CA, we are supposed to be hands-free by 7/1/08)

I have the factory JBL 6-CD changer. Can I just add what I need or will I need a new head unit? If I get a new head unit, will I still be able to use my steering wheel controls? Any ideas? I looked through the listings, but none seemed to match my "wish list". Thanks.

I tried just adding amps and speakers to my JBL system, but ended up changing the head unit out too. You can get an adapter to keep the steering wheel controls (about $75). I went with a Kenwood DNX8120. It accepts a ipod adapter, plays DVDs, has bluetooth, navigation (Garmin) and I went with the optional back-up camera. I love this unit. Check out my gallery.

    YES!!
The Kenwood DNX8120 is an awesome unit as Bledsoe said. I ened up with a 7100 because I am more of a Kenwood person. It's all preference. The Eclipse AVN6620 is nice too and you can use your steering controls right off the bat. I know cuz I had the Eclipse, it's on ebay now.
