(PETITION) On whitehouse.gov requiring background checks on politicians.

After further review I have decided to delete my post in respect to the OP of this thread and trying to keep it on topic. The post I made had little if not no relation to the thread, so I have deleted it. To the OP, I apologize for my part in the thread jacking...........

 

Oh, brother. The United States Constitution (Article II, Section 4) already bans those convicted of "high crimes and misdemeanors." Most state constitutions do likewise.

Further, to comply with that Constitutional mandate (and to maintain security regarding government finances, military projects, etc), the government (FBI, etc) already does extensive background checks (criminal & other).

In other words, this petition is not needed and only serves to highlight the sheer ignorance of those promoting it on that website.

 

Do some extended research and you will find. That many people in prison for endeavors were allowed to come here to America. But the ruler at the time allowed all the people from prison to come over. Not just endavours. Boom!

C'mon nothing they teach you in grade school is true. Did they shoot when they saw whites of eyes in the civil war? No. Was the shot heard around the world the first shot fired? Eh eh. Did we join "the Great War" because of the loss of a passenger ship? Negative. Can't teach you that when your a kiddy

 

What about amendments? See Internet is a bunch of bs! Our new generation hopefully doesn't rely to heavily on it.

Hopefully that came out the way I wanted it to.
