Please take a few moments and consider signing the petition in the link below. Will this petition help save the off road park? Maybe, maybe not. But it's quick and easy and could save a great place.

I have only been to Brazos Valley Off-Road Ranch one time but the guys that facilitate the offroading there opened their arms to me as a first time 4WD'er with an ill-equipped truck. They coached me through terrain I never thought my truck was capable of. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable.

This is a wonderful and safe and fun family place.

    Thanks for your time.

FYI, I'm not affiliated with the off-road park or the petition, just came across it via Facebook.

I signed, but isn't the only way the county can develop the land to buy it from the owner? Who exactly are we signing against? Are they taking his land from him or is he trying to sell it?

Good question. I was wondering that myself, and figured they are pressuring him to sell. In that sense we wouldn't necessarily be signing against someone, just showing proof to the owner that it is worth keeping the land and that we appreciate it. :notsure: that's how I think of it, and I am sticking to it, until the truth comes out that is.

Good idea, I will share it too. This is within driving distance for me and I never knew about it, much less the charity events. I'd love to go.

They do a lot of events out there with the TX4WD group. Especially the Bryan chapter.

I didn't consider that for housing. I've only heard of Walmart doing that. Hopefully they can find somewhere else to build homes. A city's no fun if you take out all the events.
