So I'll ask a second time - if you feel that you're neither a pussy, nor with the cop, what's your idea on how to solve his running onto the field?

Trip him... should they have set out a trip wire and waited for him to cross hit? How exactly do you trip a guy running around like that? Position yourself in front of him and stick out your leg?

The realistic options were tackling him, tasing him, waiting for him to surrender if he does so quickly (like the idiot at the NC game) or shooting him. You would have had a problem w/ the tackle, i'm sure, and you clearly have a problem w/ the tase.

I never said he wasn't a d-bag. I don't think what the kid did was "right" or sensible. We were debating whether the cop should have tased him.
