Photo Hosting: Flickr goes to smugmug, photobucket is out

    What is everyone using for Photo Hosting and linking on 3rd party sites (forums)?

    I was using photobucket then they scammed the whole world last year by locking down everyones' photos and demanding $400/yr subscriptions. So I painstakingly switched all my photos and thread images to flickr.
    AND NOW Flickr has been bought by smugmug which requires a monthly subscription!

    So what other photo hosting options are left that are free and can by shared on 3rd party sites?

    -Picasa? Google "retired" it for Google Photos instead which doesn't allow 3rd party hosting.

    -imgur? I have heard a lot of complaints about their server stability.

    Let me know what you use!

    Appears PhotoBucket has had a change of plans, restoring photos and charging $20 per year instead of $400 per year.
