I'm running a C4 Fab Low Pro bumper... been thinking of cutting the bumper straight across at the top of the fogs all the way to the fender flares to open up tire and get rid of the godawful splash guard in front of the tire.

Yeah, i know C4 makes a "hybrid" bumper but it seems dumb af to buy another bumper when i already have one..

Curious if anyone has the same bumper and have cut MORE out of their bumpers as they wheel more and more.

My truck was supposed to stay stock... how the hell did i end up here?

I’d like to see what bumper trimming looks like with a slim line installed. I’ve been debating cutting as well, except I’d leave the fogs

I would go a little higher. But not much.

The bumper right above where I cut has some plastic that connects to the back of the front that helps keep the lower part (below the fog light) stay rigid. I’d have to recheck to see if cutting that would make the front end “floppy”

Plus I don’t think it needs to go much higher. If you cut to much more might as well as spend the extra and just get a high clearance bumper.

Plus the streamline would just be “hanging” there. Cause none of the bumper would really wrap around the top

Right now I have no issues. The front is solid.

I may just go this route... thanks! I'll figure out the inner liner, as far as trimming and reattaching.

I just cut it all off. I take a picture here in a bit for you. You could go just below that lower angle and it would be good to go.

Check out the Southern Style Off-road Slimline Stage 2 bumper. I think that is what you are trying to accomplish.
