what bridge? when I was up there last we couldn't cross the rivers at the points we wanted to due to snow melt. stuff that we crossed in summer would of swept us away and regular roads got swept over by the river

I had a set of 520's on my 96 tacoma for about 4 years - and yes, I offroaded a lot with that truck. After 5 years, I sold the tacoma and put the 520's on my trail rig (jeep) and offroaded for another 5 years. The lights were great and never had any problems with them. After 9 years, the case was a little rusty but they still worked great.

I have no complaints. I have a set of PIAA's on my 2007.

These lights (or any lights) aren't meant to be submerged under water. Unless it says they are WATER PROOF - they will fail if you continue to put them in the water.

My lights aren't mounted to a submarine. I do typical offroad driving for what I have in my region (fire roads, car trails, etc). Nothing I do is hardcore - after all I have a Sport with 1" lift and AT tires.

My write up is solely based on my experiences and the experiences of the people I know. At the time this review was written I had the lights for less then ONE year and they blew out 2 sets of bulbs due to gasketing that was improperly installed during production that allowed mud and water to enter into the lights.
If you think they are great and had them for 20 years then I applaud you and PIA for assembling your set correctly, but this is not the norm for people in my region who use them as fog lights in Tacomas. Out of 5 guys I personally know running them each of us has experienced water infiltration, and 3 have had lenses crack. Take the thread for what it is opinions based on personal experience.

I'm not doing to debate the quality of these lights - I already know and my proof is in the pictures. My intent was only to steer people in the right direction so they don't waste money like I believe I have.

If I had not sold my OE fogs I would take the PIA's out and replace them. They NEVER had any of the issues the PIA's have had.

Anyone want to buy a set of PIA 510's? They are in great condition

I just got some new/used stock Toyota fogs and the ATO light brackets so I could take these junk lights off my bumper finally.

$10 for used fogs from a member
    $17 for laminex
    $40 for ATO light brackets
($130 cheaper than POS PIA's while being longer lasting and better sealed)
