Thanks to @automatcentral for the offer and chance to review this kit!
Kit can be purchased here http://www.automatcentral.com/PIAA-Backup-Lights-2440.html

I placed my order on Monday (2/6) and received it Friday (2/10). Everything was well packed to avoid damage during shipping.

    box packed nice and secure

    Installation

Installing was simple. First had to decide where to install on rear of truck. I decided to mount to hitch receiver using the double sided tape pieces included in the kit. Someday I'll mount with bolts but for now this works great.

    Wiring

I enjoy wiring but the wiring harness was a bit of a pain. All the wires were same color except for grounds which were black. Not too big of a deal but just a bit confusing when trying to untangle the whole mess.

Simply connect ground to body ground.

And connect hot wire to positive side of battery

Part of the reason I had not put extra lights on rear was simply because I didn't want to tap into reverse lights and have the lights on every time I used reverse and not have a switch either. This kit allows you to tap into reserve lights and one position of the switch turns lights on every time reverse is used, but you can also turn lights on any time needed without being in reverse.

Tapped into reverse lights. On my truck the green wire is hot

    Output shots

no lights - its dark lol

just led reverse lights - yes they are bright
    IMG_2442.jpg

just PIAA on - little hot spot and needed a little adjustment .. but it was 20 degrees and I didn't care to lay on the ground and adjust
    IMG_2443.jpg

both reverse and PIAA on - they definitely drown out the LEDs

Overall, seems like a good kit. I am more of a LED guy tho. Light output is great. Can definitely see much better when backing up with them now. Also glad the switch has the ability to turn on, off, and on with reverse lights adding to their ability. I'm definitely pleased with the product and would recommend if you are looking for more light behind your truck.
