Swapped bolts and did a quick mount-up on my bumper since I can't mount it yet. Does the angle look ok on these fog lights? I have side to side adjustability in the bumper brackets but nothing forward/rear. Since its recessed so far I'm curious how the light will throw.20170729_140434_001.jpg 20170729_140455.jpg

why not hook them up to 12v and see what it does?

Thought of that but not sure how to see the throw without mounting bumper on the truck

Just position it back from a wall and you should at least be able to see how wide the beam is.

Got to test them out on the truck tonight and I'm unable to get them angled up properly. Since the hole is 4" and light is 3.5" I can't get a straight throw after accounting for the mount bracket. Any ideas?

I had one thought: Perhaps use a 90 degree piece of steel and mount it so the bolt running from the bottom of the fog goes through that, parallel to the Demello mounting plate. That might give it some more pivot room. Only issue it it'll be further back in the hole and might effect the throw as well

In case this helps anyone else, I bought some 90 degree brackets and it got me just enough clearance to get the angle needed for the lights, 20170809_181759.jpg 20170809_181813.jpg

can you post a picture of the lights in the bumper. I just bought baja designs lights for my fog holes but im not wild about how much gap there is between the 4 inch light and whatever size the hole is. And how far back the mounting holes are. Just trying to decide if I should return the baja designs lights and go with something else or just keep what I have
