Installed the Piaa 5454 kit this weekend. Lights are nice and bright, more so than the headlights. They look great and fit pretty good. Good job Piaa

That's a lot cleaner than the last install I saw of that kit. The last person who posted up with the 5454 kit had a horrible fit, you could see the set screws and they stuck out of the fog light holes a lot more. That install looks much much better! Did you do it yourself or have a shop do it?

Ya I saw the other thread and noticed the screws showing. I was worried about that but we didn't run into that problem at all. My buddy owns a truck accessory place so we did it ourselves. Weird how that other guy had troubles. The lights are awesome, I would recommend!

What does the 'mounting hardware' consist of. I'm thinking about picking up a set of 540's but I can't find just the mounting hardware without the lamps.

With the 5454 kit, you can't put the grill on the lights. If you want the grille over the lights, you need to use PIAA 510's. Anything you put over the lights will affect light output to a degree. Personally, I'd say the light output lost is negligible.
