for those of us unfortunate enough to have fog lights and want them, wait! piaa is coming out with a kit for the 05-09 tacos that will fit in the factory spots i was told the price would range from 160-210 depending on options.

i cant see much improvement on the design, but you will be getting better lights for half the price of OEM

It appears the Piaa vehicle specific kit for 07-08 tundras will work on the 05+ Tacoma factory fog locations.

I could be completely wrong here, but after a little research and cross referencing, it looks like it would work.

I've been thinking about it, but it sure would suck to make a 250 dollar mistake.

I've also read on a couple other Toyota forums that the fitment is poor, while some say it is OK. At this point I'm not willing to squander $250 on the kit. Especially is they have something in the works. I'm just interested to see what all is different between the Tundra and Tacoma Piaa kits.

I have always loved PIAA lights, only problem I've ever had with them was the cooling when I'm stationary for long periods and they smoked the bulb. I checked on the PIAA web sight and they have the kit for $320 now .. did it go up or are you guys finding them somewhere else? I'd love to put PIAA 540's in the bumper but I would rather get the Fog and not a Driving light. Once I switched the Ion Crystal fogs on during nasty weather and noticed the difference I felt blind with out them. I may just buy the normal 540 Ion Crystals for $199 and replace the bumper equip'd ones all together.
