    OMFG!!

if any one lives in so cal or if anyone makes it out to so cal, you have to go to Picanha. It is a Brazillian Churrascaria Bar-B-Que restaurant in Burbank.

my wife won a gift certificate to the restaurant and we went there today. It is an all you can eat restaurant, but none like you have ever been to before...

There is a self-serve soup, salad, and side bar. you can get mashed potatos, beans, coleslaw, potato salad, grilled onions and peppers, grilled vegetables, grilled and diced seasoned potatos, rice, and more.... there were over 20 items.

then, at your table, you have this little wooden cylinder with one end painted red and one end panted green. when you put the green end up, these guys come to your table and serve you all these different kinds of meat. there was grilled garlic chicken, different sausages, pork, tri-tip, top sirlion, BBQ pork ribs, parmesan pork loin, lamb, and more.... there were 15 different kinds of meat.

they kept coming so fast that we couldnt clear our plates off fast enough. we had to turn the cylinder to the red end up so we could catch up. after we cleared our plates, we went for round 2 and placed the green side up again... omg... it was sooo good. everything was soo flavorful. i highly recommend that you eat here at least once.

    here is the website:

its kinda pricey, but worth going at least once. lunch is around $23 a person and dinner is around $30 a person.

here are a bunch of pics i took :)

we have one of those places out here, same kind of deal. the gauchos walk around with meat on a sword and just slice you off peices when you flag them down. it is expensive but great
