So my truck needs something else... I was thinking fender stripes in blk vinyl. Right now I am leaning in the direction of the rear facing ones. Mostly looking to add something but not what everyone else has. Thoughts?

    None

Saying no to those designs. Have the same color truck myself and not sure that looks good on a Tacoma in any color.

If you want to do stripes, check out Sockmonkey's retro stripe kits. They're very nice.

Forward facing disrupts the flow of the truck.

    Rear facing reminds me of:

If you vinyl anything do your fenders. That will look good. Those strips are a no no on any vehicle.

i voted for forward, but reading the other post it is true about the forward not going with the flow of the truck.

so i change it to rear.

like Brian said, it's your truck do what makes you happy.

that said, why don't you do a black vinyl on your front bumper valence? You can get 'em from sockmonkey. Looks good imo.

Of those two, I would go rear facing for sure, forward doesn't look right at all. I would not do either though, I would put them on the rear door possibly.

On a related note, I happen to have a partial sockmonkey retro kit that I'd be willing to sell if you need some black stripes and don't want to go full on retro kit. I was experimenting with them myself in various locations, but ended up only using the tailgate ones. I have both side of the rear fender ones and one side of the front fender. The stripes could be separated and used virtually anywhere.

Don't like the stripes at all. The truck looks good as is.

Yeah the pictures and poll was more to help generate original ideas. I will prob go with the rear facing. It's not that expensive for vinyl and easilly removed if the dont look right. I like the retros but dont really want something others have. Like I said, I was hoping to generate more alternative ideas.

BTW- Thanks for the ideas that you all have given so far!

I been kicking around the idea of rally stripes on mine. Like you said the vinyl is cheap and can be taken off.
