Pics and comments for RRW wheels?

Anyone buy RRW wheels? I don't see that many posts regarding RRW. Can you post your pics and comments on buying from them?

 

Most of the comments and threads is RRW promoting their sales. I would like to see more pics. I am looking to get the RRW RR5-V myself.

 

Their IG has some good pictures, but i haven't seen much feedback from anyone on here.

 

hadn't checked in IG. i initially chose the RR4s, to be honest they all look good - except RR1s.

 

i ended up ordering the RR4-V, i will post pictures when i get them on.

 

nice, someone mentioned that you can choose black studs. I do not see that option on their site.

 

So I just visited the shop today and met Ray personally. Really really cool dude and was super patient with me deciding on what wheels I wanted to go with. I had considered both the RR5 and the RR4-v's. It was funny because my girl actually liked the rr5 better but the reason I chose the rr4 s was because they weighed a pound lighter, were less expensive, and had the deeper dish look. The rr4 v's weighed in at 25.1 lbs each which is lighter than what I'm currently running on my truck (ProComp Phaser 41 17 x 9's with 29.8 lbs each). I also think it will show off my cross drilled rotors in the front. debating whether I want to throw these on the truck right away or wait till my sliders come in. So far I'm happy with my choice. I will post pictures later after I mount them on my truck.

 

Those rr4v2 are going to look great on your white truck! I've been debating the past month between those and rr2v .

 

For those of you concerned about the bolts being gold, after looking at them I can tell that the paint can be removed. They almost took stainless steel underneath but can't tell for sure. I'm going to try right now with making them black and see how they look

 

Either one would have looked fine. Did you get the lugs too?

 

Actually already had the lugs from my previous aftermarket wheels. But I did end up buying a brand new set just because it's new Wheels and I wanted it to be more uniform.

So far so good got my wheels mounted today. They sit in a bit narrower than my last Procomp Phaser 41 wheels since the last ones were -6 offset as opposed to these at 0. I do feel a tad bit lighter on accelerating since these wheels are lighter than previous. I still have 3 wheels to tackle the gold bolts on today.

 

Got the rr4-v in. Got them mounted. Ran into a few problems at discount tire. Had to get new lugs, factory lugs couldn’t be used. Also the rim is a tad wider than the 4Runner trail wheels I had on so there was not a whole lot of room between wheel and spindle? Discount tire peeps said at full lock if I hit a bump there’s chance rubbing will occur. So far I’ve driven for 2 days. No problems. I like the gold bolts. Silver would be nice too. Loving the wheels though

 

What lift?

 

I've been running OME bp-51 for past year now which includes the dakar leaf pack and I added a leaf on top of that.

So here is some more feedback on these wheels. These do fit just fine. I'm still waiting for my painted bolts to dry fully. I think though it did give me some more clearance when turning the wheels right by my inside front fender on the backsides near the frame.
Make sure you get an alignment as with any new set of wheels. Here are my current afternoon pics without the bolts in.

 

Did the wheels come with two sets of center caps (lifted and other flat)? Do the V series allow for the flat cap?

 

Mine only came with 1 set of center caps which is the one shown in the pictures.

 

You rub any with the 285s?
