Just got my '03 and I know it was helpful for me to see pics of "mods" on this Website before I tested them on mine--SO here are a few pics of the first couple of weeks worth of mods
AVS Bug shield and vent shades--easy to install--took about 30 minutes for the stick on window vent shades (Tip: get the stick on type--not window channel type)--Bug shield was a snap took about 20 minutes (Tip: replace the plastic screws with stainless deck screws--get them at a marine supply store

Window tinting--only took about 45 minutes total--did driver and passenger side windows--plus only cost about $15--driveway DIY install

Aries bull bar--paid about $225 and it is about a 30-40 minute install (Tip: if you don't shim the driver's side of the mount with a 1/2" spacer between the frame and the mounting bracket--it will lean to that side! Figured this out about a day later--it isn't listed in the "instruction manual"--just trust me on this one!) I really like the looks of it--but this thing is strictly a cosmetic addition--good for looks--and mounting lights if you so desire.

Husky liners--paid about $50--put in in about 5 minutes--they look good and fit good--they really protect the footboard area MUCH better than any regular floormats.

Also did the "Shower Drain Mod" put it in another post!
Thought some of this would be helpful to anyone thinking about any of these mods.

Did you take the door panels off to do the tint, did you apply it to the window then cut, or cut it then applied it. I soooo want to tint my windows but dont want to pay 150 bucks to get it done.

I didn't take the panels off--I custom fit to outside with 1/2" extra at bottom and top of window--you MUST thoroughly clean BOTH sides of window BEFORE starting--then cut to size (plus the extra 1/2" to push under the bottom and top sections) with the windows rolled up.
I bought a pack of "bondo" squeegies and a fresh pack of razor blades for application tools--then mixed a Windex bottle full of warm soapy water to spray and set the film in place.
Don't roll windows down for at least 3 days--$15 and done.

The "Shower drain mod" is in another post I did titled "Air box Mod"

I cut a hole in the front of the air-box and put a screw in shower drain--the truck gets more air--more power--and better gas mileage!
