Did you get the older ones from toytec or the "fixed" ones from wheelers? I've seen chris talk about this problem before, but they say it's been solved.

I bought mine from a fellow member in the B/S/T thread last december so im not sure where/when he got em. Finally installed them this summer, and now im sitting at 2.25" lift with the extra top spacer so the springs are at only 1.75. I came up with a way to easily fix my dillemma for almost free though: I had a 3" lift via billet aluminum top plate spacers before, and I'm simply having them machined down to give me about 1.25-1.5" lift. With the LR UCAs I dont think I have to worry about the ball joints like on the factory UCAs anymore and with that minor amount of lift I dont think they'll affect the ride too adversely either.

I haven't trimmed anything yet, puttin spidertrax spacers on in a couple days and then will see what all's rubbing. Right now its rubbin on the new UCAs when I turn to sharp.

Thanks alot guys! It's been fun finally gettin around to doing some stuff to it.

I bought mine from Northridge toyota somewhere in Ca., so don't know which batch I got. FWIW I got the best deals from them on all that stuff and they had free shipping, the UCAs were $590 to my door.

I hope theres not much sagging, would want it higher if anything.

Thats a smart idea but the only sucky thing is that you will essentially have a spacer lift, right..?

They dont say they are carrying Old OME stock. Its just something I have been putting together, as people (some) have had their springs sag prematurly when they bought from them. You may want to see if Wheelers has the similar set up.

Well....not much to getting the parts.
Springs (884 or 885 your choice)
    N140S shocks
    N182 shocks
    AAL
    U bolts
    10mm lift enhancer (x2)
1 Trim packer for driver side

    And thats it. :)

I've added both to my cart when I was bored at work, multiple times (actually I don't work anymore, I just kinda sit.). It comes out cheaper through wheelers, however that wasn't with any discounts, I believe Nuebs hooks us up with toytec and maybe wheelers gives TW members one? Not sure on the last part.
Sandfire, if you want to go higher in the future you could always pick up the top plate spacers right? It seems like they would negate future sagging? Not that I think they will a bunch, maybe just a little like chris has said.

Yeah, I will keep measuring it and if it starts to sag I will probably add the lift enhancers.

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

Yeah, lots of salt/sand mix spread in the winters here to help control icy roads.
