Well I plan on installing Bushwacker cut outs this summer so I just took the install plans from those and cut away what was needed to install those. And I'm good I don't rub at all. If you want to take your truck off road you going to have to do some cutting or buy new wheels. I say just cut you can't even really notice mine from the side of the truck and I painted it all black so it just looks like the wheel well.

This is a shot after i cut everything off.

ive cut and sanded the pinch weld all the way back but it still hits some. di you have to use a hammer at all. how much space do you have at full turn?

LOL I had to do that just to turn the wheel when I put them on. I removed about 1 1/2 of medal from the back side of the fender that's where I was rubbing bad was the fender. at full lock I have about 2 1/2" of clearance.

I started with this that was just to be able to drive the truck.

Then I cut all this so I could take it off road. you can see here I rubbed the paint off from the first time I cut. I pounded the shit out of it with a hammer and moved it back about 1"

Little short on funds or I would.. that and it would make more sense to go with long travel on a 5-lug. But if I had a 4x4 that one would be the goal

Jlee i cut mine about the same amount that you did on the first pic. but where the pinch weld it at is where im having my clearance issue at the bottom of the pinch weld did you hit it with a hammer there also. sorry for all the questions man just trying to figure out the best way to do this so i dont cut off to much or bend to much that i dont have to.

Okay so the red arrow I scraped off all the sealant there was about 1/2" of it right there and pounded it back about 1". The Blue one was pounded back and the pinch weld was cut flush. The green line was all metal that I removed and it came out to that green line.

Well you can hammer it back or you can remove it and weld a new plate in that spot.

I wanted the duratracs but they were a little bit more and I would have waited a week and my old tires were getting scary to drive on. So I got Goodyear wrangler Authority, they were a bit cheaper and looks just as good

hey man i cut off everything that you did the other day and can pretty much turn without it hitting. im thinking about getting the ebiach coils mybe the extra half to inch depending on how much my springs are sagging may give me extra clerance between the tire and the body.
