Wow those pics look familiar, I wonder where Max got those from.

The nice thing about facebook is you can upload as many as you want at a time. I was helping a friend install a garage door so I had to leave. I'm still uploading to TW 3 at a time.

OK let me start by saying I had a great time & it was good to meet you guys.
About half way down the 10 miles of dirt/gravel we hit snow.

    Bob & Jason
    [IMG]

Then we turned onto the trail that leads to Pine Grove mine. Previous trip pics here Ft Churchill & Pine Grove Mine 3/11/12
    [IMG]

After a bit we turned onto the trail that leads to Rockland mine and encountered virgin snow and a trail I have never been on.

I stopped here because I missed the turn we were supposed to take. Not much snow on the open flat spots but the uphills were a different story.

    Jason

    Sam

I took this pic because I thought it looked cool. But then someone spotted mine in the mountain.

And Sean got stuck here because he refused to air down. Sam went with Sean & headed back down to wait for us because Sam & Max able to communicate via ham radio.

With Max bringing up the rear.

    Bob & Bosco
    [IMG]

I stopped here because the GPS coordinates I had said this was where Rockland mine was.

It turns out it was behind where I parked & the trail I backed into might have lead to it.

At this point I suggested that maybe a V6 with a locker might be a better snowplow/lead than a open/open 4Banger. Jason took point & took the high trail.

One of the out building of the Pine Grove mine. This was as far up I went.

After seeing Jason & Bob doing a lot of tire spinning & then back down I thought we were heading back down so I did. Jason, Bob & Max ended up above the mine.

Reunited where Sam & Sean were waiting for us.

    Bosco

    The foundation of something.

Like I said great trip and I want to go again when there is less snow so I can check out the mine ruins better.
