    Is there an easy way to remove pinstripes???? Open to suggestions.

    I took mine off with a hair-dryer. But since you have an 02, there will more than likely be faded areas and such, so you may want to peel a tiny portion off one side and see if the color is different. Very easy project and looks better IMO.

    thats what i started with, didnt know if there was an easier way, might have to get if buffed afterwards because it is faded a bit. thanks

    i took mine off by hand on a hot summer day. no fading though but when i started takin the badges off there was fading

    I used a heat gun on my Ranger a couple of years ago, peeled off really easy.

    Astro Eraser wheel!!!!

    It is basically a big eraser that hooks up to a pneumatic gun and removes foam tape, pin striping, decals, etc. I got one to remove my TRD decals, and foam tape for the Tacoma badges. Worked amazing, doesn’t hurt the paint. They cost from $15-20. The only possible issue will be finding one, call your local body and paint shop suppliers.

OME 882s, HD Dakars and nitrochrgers, TG front bumper, custom rear bumper, 4Xinnovations sliders, RAT skids, Softopper, 255/85/16 ST MAXX's on 16" steelies, 1" B.O.R.A. wheel spacers Scangaugae II, deck plate mod, grey wire mod,ECGS bushing, diff breather relocation, alarm mod, defrost w/o compressor mod, de-badged, sockmonkey beside decals.
    x2 on the hair dryer. but mine is an 04 and i just took mine off this past fall and you cant see any fading. i de-badged too and i can barely see where the letters where. if you didnt know where to look you wont notice the fading. i say go for it.
