47F9FAFC-3378-4C9B-B934-2F19C07EA889.jpg Installed the Pioneer 6600nex today. Took a little work but def was not bad at all. I did not have the oem metal brackets as I gave them to the person that bought my oem radio. I had the Metra car kit that my other after market radio was using. I had to slightly modify the brackets to do the job but man it worked awesome. Yes they are not the metal ones but they work perfect. This unit fits PERFECT without a car kit. Setting it up took a bit. That was the most challenging part. Just getting everything to talk to each other flawlessly. Now I turn the truck on and bam it all works. As of now I def recommend the purchase if you are on the fence.

Man, that looks so good. I'm heavily leaning towards the 6600 myself.

I’m realizing liking it so far. I’ve had it about a week. Like I said takes some time getting everything to sync up and understanding it. Definitely use the Maestro RR to retain your factory settings. I recommend the deck 100%

Do your backup warning and side mirror warning lights still work?

Looks really good, nice job. I'm thinking of going this route myself. How did setting up the Maestro go? Is it fairly intuitive? I don't have any experience in car audio, but I wouldn't mind doing this install myself. The only issue I have right now is my bezel, I have the factory 6", but I would buy a premium bezel.

Thank you I appreciate it. The install itself is not to bad but that's with car audio experience. The maestro is not bad. You will have to use your computer to flash it. Basically you are uploading your car make and model and the make and model of your radio into the maestro. This makes it so you can retain your factory settings. I'd say for someone with no car audio experience the splicing of the wire harness might be overwhelming but you can do. Basically it's color for color. I suggest not using those cheesy butt connectors. Get some good posi connectors. I solder and heat shrink mine but that's over kill. I'm happy to help you in any way I can. Don't be afraid to ask. I'd say give it a go!!!!! It's fun too :)
