Anybody have experience with the WT3800 in a 2.5 Gen? Thinking about pulling the trigger but I'm worried about fitment. I know it can fit. But, I'm more concerned about it fitting flush with the dash. I've seen some install vids in other cars where it sticks out a few inches revealing the mounting guts behind. My OCD would force me to set fire to my truck if that was my final product.

There's some posts of similar Pioneer models in 2nd and 3rd Gens that look pretty good. Anybody have one mounted in a 2.5 Gen with factory, double-DIN touchscreen?

I had this installed in my second gen before I sold the truck. I wish I had a better pic for you, but I was able to align it so the bottom of the screen just about sat flush against the stereo bezel. The trick is to leave the HVAC controls out for access to the mounting bolts. Assemble the stereo in the bezel, attach all your wiring, and then snap the bezel into place. Now you can install the bolts for the mounting bracket before reinstalling the HVAC controls. I hope that makes sense. PM me if you have any other questions. I thought it looked pretty good. They're wasn't much gap at the top behind the screen and I felt it looked fairly stock if you consider the tablet look a lot of automakers are going with these days.

I just want to take a moment to say holy shit. I was looking at some of those larger screens and the mounting looked ridiculous and intrusive. This looks OEM. If only there were a binnacle solution.
