Don't want to high jack the thread but,

I was looking at an App radio by Pioneer, can't remember the model but I wasn't sure I'd like using a touch screen on the road. So I'd like to ask how those that have had these type stereos like the touch while driving? I'm used to going by feel when changing stations and thought it would be distracting to use the touch screen.

Z120 is almost 4 generations old. The new 150 was announced and should ship soon. 140 is 2012 and 130 before. 120 before that. 140's used I saw on eBay for 500's area


I had z140 and app radio is retarded. I had a iPhone 4. Tried a lot of apps. Now a iPhone 5. It's buggy. The res of apps like waze on AppRadio isn't as clear as regular Nav. I was not impressed. -my- $0.02

I am with you on that one as well. I had a lot of offers for used units from people who wanted to sell their units. My thought is why buy used when you can buy new for the same or slightly more. Have a manufacturers warranty and the safety of a new product. I am sure that the other units are fine but there really is no way of knowing (especially with electronics) if it is on its way out. another thing that you mentioned is compatability with android products. an older unit is more than likely going to be finicky at best with the newer smart phones. just a thought.
